Aslı Esmer Özkan completed her education first at Notre Dame de Sion French High School and later at Galatasaray University Faculty of Law. After graduating from Galatasaray University Faculty of Law, she completed her legal internship and joined the Istanbul Bar Association in 2013.
Aslı specialized in international arbitration (ICC, ICSID, etc.), corporate law, and commercial law, especially offering consultancy on international arbitration and company establishment processes and representing parties in large-scale arbitration lawsuits in one of Turkey’s leading law firms. Later in her career, she served as a legal consultant within the internal legal department of one of the country’s most established construction companies. In this capacity, she gained experience in labor law, corporate law, construction law, and commercial law. Aslı then worked as manager in one of the world’s major tax audit firms, providing legal consultancy services on compliance processes, corporate governance, labor law, and more to various domestic and international companies and took part in M&A projects as team leader.
Aslı continues to provide consultancy to various domestic and international companies in different sectors. She is currently pursuing her master’s education in Private Law at Istanbul Bilgi University.
