Selin Çetin Kumkumoğlu joined our firm as an Of Counsel who specializes in the field of information and technology law, especially personal data protection and artificial intelligence, after gaining experience and conducting important compliance projects in Türkiye’s various prominent IT law firms that provide national and international consultancy.
After law faculty, Selin got a master’s degree in information and technology law. She worked as a trainee in the European Committee on Legal Co-operation-Council of Europe. At the same time, she is secretary-general of the Information and Technology Law Commission of the Istanbul Bar Association where she leads the Artificial Intelligence Working Group established within the Commission. She is also a member of the Information Technology Commission of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations as the representative of the Istanbul Bar Association.
Selin is also a board member of the Could Security Alliance Türkiye Chapter, she is a Ph.D. candidate in the field of law and artificial intelligence at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
